An American man has been left gobsmacked by the smallest house in Great Britain, located in Conwy, Wales. Known as kalanighosthunter on TikTok, Kalani Smith often shares his UK adventures with his followers, and his recent trip to Wales certainly left a lasting impression.
In a recent video, he visited the tiny property in Conwy, which boasts a floor area of just 3.05m by 1.8m (10.0ft by 5.9ft). The house is hard to miss, thanks to its vibrant red paint job. Situated near the walls of Conwy Castle, the ground floor of the house serves as the living area, complete with space for coal storage and an open fire.
A water tap can be found tucked away behind the stairs, adding to the home's charm. This is perhaps why the property is such a hit with visitors.

During his visit, Kalani exclaimed: "This is the smallest house in Great Britain. Oh my gosh - how is this a house? This is crazy. In London, this is probably like £500,000."
The footage shows Kalani's astonishment at the size of the house, struggling to comprehend how it could be considered habitable. The house can barely fit two people in a room, and the furniture is equally diminutive.
Kalani was left in awe of the tiny dwelling, further proving that Wales is home to a plethora of unique and intriguing attractions. Social media users were equally stunned by the property, with more than 5,000 people having viewed the footage.
They were left gobsmacked when Kalani provided a guided tour. One individual remarked: "It's iconic."
Another chimed in with: "It always makes me think, from the outside, of our Royal Mail postboxes. Inside it's smaller. Still amazing though."
A third responded: "I chose to talk about this house in my college class last year. Would love to visit." Meanwhile, a fourth also noted: "I could live in that."
Someone else also wrote: "I love watching where you go, as someone who's lived in South London all her life. I'm seeing what you are seeing for the first time too. Love it."
To address some queries you might have, Britain's tiniest house sits at the conclusion of a row of properties on Conwy's waterfront. It's something you really can't overlook, and many people enjoy popping by whilst passing through.
It's so legendary that some consider the dwelling a "national treasure", and tourists are consistently amazed by the distinctive character the building possesses. Some also relish discovering all about the heritage of the residence as well.
Visit Conwy reveals: "The smallest house in Great Britain is just 72 inches wide by 122 inches high. It was occupied right up until May 1900 and, ever since, it has been visited and marvelled at by thousands of people from around the world.
"The last person to live in the house was a local fisherman called Robert Jones (who also happened to be 6 foot 3). Before Mr Jones, an elderly couple lived there.
"The house may be small but it's extremely practical. There's just enough room for a single bed, a fireplace and a coal bunker."
